Adoption/usage metrics for new Desktop-Engagement CX enhancements

Since we are unable to implement pendo into Procare Desktop we need a different mechanism for tracking adoption/usage metrics. We will be deploying a few great customer experience enhancements in our Feb 20/22 release for the Desktop-Engagement sync. We need to be able to track and report on which users are clicking on these new features.

Acceptance Criteria (Requirements) of Request

Power BI report that shows the data associated with each click event.

Click events:

  • User clicks on "Launch Engagement" from the Connected with Engagement menu item

  • User clicks on "Sync Help" from the Connected with Engagement menu

Data we need in the Power BI report:

  • IKN

  • School ID

  • School Name

  • Person ID

  • Person Name

  • Application ID (i.e. Desktop, MyProcare, XYZ extra, etc.)

  • Event ID (i.e. click on Launch Engagement, click on Sync Help, etc.)

  • Date/time (UTC) of event (in this case the click on Launch Engagement and the click on Sync Help)

High level questions we're trying to answer:

  1. How many centers are using these new features? (Specifically, how many centers have clicked on each of the 2 new menu drop-down items)

  2. How many users within each center are using these new features?

  3. How frequently are users using these new features? (How many times in 1 week or 1 month is a specific user clicking on these new features)
