**Not sure on the Area of Request again for this. This is a billing and statement issue.
Our billing cycle needs adjusting/fixing along with the way it shows on parent statements. We bill some of our Set schedule rooms each week. Our Statements show the Semester time period instead of the week that was billed. Parents will see week after week the same description, example 08/01/2019 - 05/29/2020. A parent can not use this when they try to submit their statement for reimbursement with FSA. It is future dated and for that reason it is denied.
Our 'fix' right now with the help of your team is to have all our rooms set as monthly cycle. When we bill, we use the Monday Post Date, the Billing Cycle as Monthly, select the Category/location and the billing start date and end date for example is always the week we are billing, 12/16/2019 - 12/20/2019. When we do it this way, the family statement will show those dates and not the Semester. This works fine.
The problem is when it comes to a weeks billing that contains the end of 1 month and the beginning of another. My last issue was the week of 10/28/2019 - 11/01/2019. This had October and November in the billing week so it only will post billing for 10/28/2019 - 10/31/2019. I could not get it to bill or include 11/01/2019.
The month before it was 09/30/2019 - 10/04/2019. I could only get it to bill for 1 day that week, for 09/30, if I did not catch this, we would have been missing 4 days of billing. While this does not happen every month, it is a huge problem as we have around 70 locations with sometimes 2-3 rooms that we are billing for.
