Cadences has thousands of records in the database when it comes to custom email templates. This is just a result of using the system for years and not cleaning up templates when they are no longer needed. Cadence is now in the process of trying to clean of years worth of data. So when they go to delete center level templates from the business level, they have two options when deleting the template from the BL, option 1 set the Apply to field to "Current Center Only" when this option is selected they get a pop up that says "Are you sure you want to delete this email template Type? This will also delete all related custom email templates for the center if any exists" but this action only deletes the one template from the BL and nothing gets deleted from the center level. Option 2 is to set the Apply to field to "All Centers." When this is selected, they get a pop up that states "Are you sure you want to delete this email template Type for all centers? This will also delete all related custom email templates for all center if any exists." This option deletes all custom templates at all centers including the business level which is not ideal. The client would like to be able to enhance this process so that when selecting Current Center only, the template gets deleted from the business level as well as all centers that have that template stored. Otherwise, another potential option would be to add all existing active centers to the Apply To drop down menu so they could use Multi Select and manually select which centers the template should be deleted from.
