It would be great if we could have the ability to inactivate a room category/rooms.

We have rooms and room categories that we no longer use that are mixed in with our active rooms.  This would help clean up that screen.

    This functionality is present in the system, if a room is no longer being used you can mark the specific room as inactive. Click here for a link to walk you though how to mark a room as inactive.

    If you have categories you no longer want to see all old rooms can be moved to the blank category. Once a room category no longer has rooms underneath the room category can be deleted.

    Thanks.  I understand the room can be marked as inactive, but it still appears on the Room configuration screen.  The ability to hide it from this screen does not exist and having to change the category is only a work around.  Ideally we could inactivate the category so that the category and room structure is maintained, but simply does not display on the configuration screen (but could be viewed by clicking a link for inactive categories).
