Despite being able to set classroom maximums, Procare will allow you to schedule as many children in that classroom with no warning that you're above the maximum in real time. For centers that allow their parents to have flexible schedules (drop in programs, hospital child care centers, etc) this means that the center has to pull a schedule report regularly to make sure they're staying within ratio and under the classroom maximum. This especially impacts centers that would otherwise LOVE to utilize myprocare for parent-initiated scheduling.

Customer would benefit from having classroom cap alert.
This would be tricky to implement. A concern would be what would be considered an 'Opening' for someone to schedule? There could be multiple overlapping schedule templates and some schools may have custom partial templates so a new schedule could be entered where the only time the classroom is over capacity may be one hour on one day, or even 30 minutes. Different start and end dates could also cause confusion as well.
We also would want to consider how MPC would be implemented, if a parent gets a 'Classroom Full' alert do they see what the conflict is or not? If they attempt can they notify the center they are trying? Maybe a wait list?
If we do have a significant ask for a feature like this I think we'd need to have some discussions on what the customers expect to see, and get some different viewpoints since many people use schedules differently.
