Several customer have expressed a need to have access to other statuses that sync records into Engagement functionality. Allowing a 'Pre-enrollment' status to sync family data into Engagement and send out parent invitations prior to the child's actual date of enrollment would significantly improve customer and parent experience.
EDIT - This portion of the business case would not necessarily have to be addressed by a new status that syncs, but by allowing 'enrolled' status to sync to engagement some number of days before the date of the status.
A different use case for this would be to let customers use Engagement for programs with children who are not enrolled. Endeavor has specifically called this out as a major issue for them. They use a different enrollment status for summer camp programs in order to keep their true enrollment numbers accurate for reporting. They have signaled that they are willing to leave Procare for their summer program usage if this is not addressed somehow.

As of right now, online only consumes the "Enrolled" status. If the online team would like to consume more statuses so that they can do things like invite parents to use Engagement sooner, then we need to know what they would like to receive from Desktop. From there, they can decide what they would like to do with each of the statuses. We can work with the online team to pass the information they need to in order to facilitate pre-enrollment.
