Kiddie Academy has had several franchisees approach them asking why they can't install Procare onto the newer Microsoft laptops that use ARM chips. They expect demand grow and would like their owners to have the option to use Desktop on such devices.
Their concern is that this is the direction the hardware market is going, and they would like this addressed before it becomes a pain point for their owners.

Supporting ARM chips would be a massive undertaking that would take more than a year if we started today. It's like trying to use a Vespa engine to drive a tank. ARM chips are primarily used for mobile devices.
Getting the SPIKE for this into the next sprint. We have talked in circles about it, but we need to have someone sit down and figure out what needs to be done. https://procare.atlassian.net/browse/PCS-6501
Still getting information on this one, but this is obviously something we will need to deal with to note hemorrhage customers, especially as those chips become more common.
