Customer wants to see functionality in Desktop that allows them to import payroll deduction numbers in bulk. They want to be able to import the deduction amount and the person/account associated to have a more efficient way to apply that across many teacher/parents at once, ideally across multiple sites at a time.
What is the problem that they are looking to solve with the suggested solution?
Current process for putting in payroll deductions consists of multiple labor intensive steps that can only be done one by one. The customer receives a file from their payroll office for what amounts need to be deducted from each teacher/parent and then administrators must apply the deduction through the process outlined in this article.

Yes, the current process supported in Desktop is very burdensome for administrators to use because setting payroll deductions is by itself a time-intensive process to navigate through, and that process must be done on an individual basis. |

We can look into a batching solution, similar to the way standard amounts work in Q3.
Okay so it sounds like after they set up the formulas and whatnot they have to:
Go to Employee tab
Choose withholdings form.
Create/Edit withholding amount for that employee
Save
Repeat steps 2-4 with each employee that also has a child in the daycare, (which is like half of them).
Sounds like a super laborious process, and I have to imagine there are a lot of centers that do this specific withholding.
I am going to have the devs give a gut estimate on this.
