This is a customer-funded report request for Technical Services.
Customer wants a variation of an existing report found at Corporate Reports > Family Data > Child Enrollment > Average Length of Stay.
FD_Corp_ChildEnrollment_AvgLOS01.rpt
The requested report is very close to the original, except the intent is to measure currently enrolled children rather than children who have withdrawn.

Parameters/Filters:
As of date
checkbox that would exclude children who enrolled within the last 30 days
checkbox that would exclude children who were withdrawn in the past 30 days
Follow the same header/footer as the original LOS report
Because the requested report only cares about currently enrolled children, all of the logic about what constitutes a 'length of stay' can be discarded.
A length of enrollment will count the number of days a child has been enrolled up to the 'as of' date selected.
The first page will be a high level summary by location
The following pages will be a detailed view broken up by location and then classroom.

Customer needs to identify trends of currently enrolled students, both overall at a high level, and by location and classroom to identify potential problem areas. Customer has reviewed the current selection of reports and none of them provide what she needs. |
