Ledger entries dated for the future shouldn't be treated as current by the software

We noticed that when we enter things onto the ledger with a future date, the system treats it as if those things have already come to pass. For example, if we enter a future credit for 6/2/25, and the credit is equivalent to the family's weekly tuition for this current week, then we are not able to process payment for the current week for that family without first removing the future-dated credit.

Basically, the way it works now makes it difficult to process certain things in advance.
