Accounting Feature Request

Hey there,

I want to connect with someone about some critical features that are
missing that would allow us to do better bookkeeping for clients using
ProCare. We are the bookkeepers for Brush Creek Family Services currently.

  • The ability to add a payment date when recording payments
    (System defaults to current date and it is often never the true payment
    date of when a payment was received)

  • More customization with the transaction reports so that we can
    manually import transaction data into Quickbooks Online

  • Syncing between ProCare and Quickbooks Online is currently faulty and
    we are unable to use it. The system does not apply payments to invoices and
    about 25% of transactions don't actually sync, creating a cleanup nightmare
    to determine which payments or invoices are missing.

We have since disconnected the QBO and Procare sync feature and are trying
to work on a manual journal entry process to record revenue from ProCare -
but the inability to enter a payment date for checks received is making
this challenging.

Hoping you can share this with your development team and give me any
updates as to when features like these may be improved/added so that we can
do accounting for our clients that use this platform. Otherwise, we may be
searching for alternatives for our clients since we cannot perform
accounting in a reasonable way with the software as is. Thank you for your
