Compatibility with Surface Pro Snapdragon Processor

We are reaching out with two critical concerns that are affecting our daily operations and overall parent satisfaction.

1. Compatibility with Surface Pro Devices
We recently upgraded our computers to the latest Microsoft Surface Pro models, which utilize the new Snapdragon processor. Unfortunately, we’ve discovered that the Procare desktop application is not compatible with this system. This presents a significant issue, as we made this upgrade across our organization expecting full functionality and support. We kindly ask that your technical team review this compatibility concern and let us know if there is a workaround or timeline for an update that supports Snapdragon. *We have previously reached out to Procare on numerous occasions about this issue.

2. Withdrawal Date System Behavior
We’ve also encountered an issue with how Procare handles withdrawal dates. When we input a child’s last day (e.g., August 5), the system removes the child from active status during the day rather than at 11:59 p.m., which is technically the end of that day. This results in confusion and frustration among parents, especially when their child is still on campus.

While we understand we can adjust the withdrawal date on our end to keep the child active, doing so negatively impacts attendance records and bulk billing processes, which rely on accurate end dates.

We would greatly appreciate your guidance on both of these matters. Please let us know if there are settings we can adjust, or if these are known issues currently under review by your development team.

Thank you for your time and support.
