I would like to suggest adding a feature that allows administrators to enter dates when the daycare is closed (such as holidays, staff training days, or emergency closures). Once entered, these dates would automatically display on each child’s attendance record as “Center Closed” and possibly a one to two word brief description of the reason.
This feature would:
Improve accuracy in attendance tracking
Prevent confusion for staff and families
Save time by eliminating the need to manually adjust each child’s attendance
Provide clearer records for licensing, billing, and reporting purposes
This addition would be extremely helpful for childcare centers and would enhance overall efficiency and clarity within the system.
