Directors/Staff have to check all the boxes in the staff profile to receive push notifications through the app.
I frequently hear from owner/directors that they expect to receive notification of parent messages. Please make it more clear that push notifications through the app are dependent on room assignment as many admins/owners/directors do not assign themselves a room.
Additionally, I receive frequent requests for message notifications through the web. Either an email or something in the dashboard that is more visible is necessary. Currently clients have to click on the "Parent Connection" tab to see the indicator that a new message is there.
Let's make it easier for teams to see and respond to parent communications. Thanks!

You could make the case the new Messaging navigation somewhat addresses this but leaving the request open (unless recommended otherwise) as the customer seems to be wanting true notification queuing, rather than red dots. Let me know if I'm wrong here!
Better understanding on the impact of Room Assignments for push notifications
This is being addressed with the Room Visibility permission coming in July. We updated the Room Assignment modal to better clarify the importance of Room Assignments as it related to pushing notifications. (see attached)

This would be great to have! BAM 69842606 a KR to PE switcher mentioned KR had this option and it would benefit centers everywhere to be able to opt into email notifications for parent messages as well.
