QB School Setting - When Parent Conversation Messages is turned to No Access, it removes access from the parent side as well.

Multiple schools have asked for the ability to turn off direct messaging for the parents or limit it. When you turn the QB permission at the bottom of the account to No Access for "Parent Conversation Messages," it hides the messages from the school but does not block communication from the parents. There isn't any type of notification that the schools will be able to see and no way for the parents to know that the message doesn't go anywhere.

I have a customer that does not want the parent/staff messaging feature available. When turning the setting off in QB it prevents the school from accessing messages but the parents can still message the school and they will have no idea. This customer is not pleased by this as they do not want their parents to feel as if they are ignored and do not want the parents messaging if there is an emergency and then they are not receiving that correspondence. We really need to have this option turn the messaging option for parents as well and revoke their access.
