Client asking why it will allow her to update the staff email on Parent Engagement but it will sync back to the email on DT.
Client would like to see the information clearly identified when it syncs to PE. Does not understand why we added the lock icon and indication for some items but not others. Finds this very frustrating and inexcusable. Children's Day School, Inc IKN 392-458-1654 BAM 39245816
I have had several customer that are admin or director that get the "You don't have permission to make these changes" pop up that are extremely confused and frustrated as they are the head of the center and feel they should have access to all permissions. In explaining what that really means to them, there is always frustration as to why there is no certainty with PE. The inconsistencies leave them confused.
BAM 38342505 and BAM 95471000 (8 sites) all asked why they are able to delete emails and users in Engage, but they still sync back from Desktop. If we make these actions a two-way sync, it would save customers a lot of confusion and frustration.
Can we please make the lock button more consistent across Engage? Countless clients are frustrated and confused that the option to even make changes in the app is there and then the changes sync back from Desktop. They've been instructed to make changes in Desktop, but not everyone remembers to. The "You don't not have permission to make these changes" error that appears for certain edits also creates confusion. We get a lot of calls from clients thinking that something is wrong with their account permissions when all they need to do is make edits in Desktop. If we could either make the lock button more consistent across the PE platform, or even remove the option for users to make changes- it would save a lot of frustration on both ends.
