Currently in the U.S, 13% of the population speaks Spanish at home, and Procare does not offer any resources for these communities. We work with diverse communities and it is important for our platform to offer inclusive options.
To start we can offer a recorded training of the webinars in Spanish. This would not have to be reoccurring, but a recording that Sales & Implementations would be able to share to clients.
We can also offer training documents in Spanish for staff and parents in our Help Center.
Not only would this create a more inclusive platform, but also provide a competitive edge against other childcare platforms.

The above centers are all primarily spanish speaking and are in need for the app to be available in spanish.
BAM 35901921 The Spanish-speaking director of Educando Childcare Center has had to bring in external people to help train her because all of the resources for PE are not offered in Spanish. This is a major inconvenience for her as she is trying to open her center promptly but cannot access basic resources to ensure her app is working correctly.
BAM 75298000 is feeling overwhelmed and not adequately supported because the task of translating the training resources for her primarily Spanish speaking staff is falling on her. On top of all of the other responsibilities she has. Let's please get these resources available for our Spanish speaking customers.
I have had many customers request this. We are onboarding a lot of Spanish speaking centers. I just had a meeting with a center that has no idea how they will implement the software because all of their parents speak Spanish. This is an issue that is pushing customers away because they do not have the time to go through and translate the training materials and parents can not use the software because everything is in English. The center said Procare is only for a specific group of people and it does not seem to be at all inclusive. Our company values inclusivity and that is not being properly represented when everything is only in English. Having training materials in Spanish is something we need to be able to offer.
We do have a lot of clients ask about this often. It would be great to offer Spanish resources and options. Talk about a competitive edge as well!
I completely agree! Speaking as someone who is bilingual, not having these resources built in and having users refer to Google translate is just forcing the customers into taking an extra step in finding simple answers. I'm thinking about the scenarios where a center would find an article, paste it into Google translate, and then that article not having the answers they're looking for. So then they're spending extra time copying and pasting multiple articles into Google translate until they finally find one that matches their key word searches to their issue. Seems much simpler to have materials in Spanish available to create a more efficient user experience.
