The new mapping of Lead Profile Fields to Active Student Profile Fields does not create the profile as a Student Profile Field, which has some downstream issues. Lead profile fields that are mapped to student profiles are not reportable with the Custom Students and Family Report, so customers cannot pull reports on that profile field for their students. Also, if the center wants to collect that same information on re-registration forms, they have to create an additional Student Profile Field, which means there will be a duplicate of that field on student profiles after re-registration and potentially outdated information stuck on student profiles.
Profile fields that are Lead Profiles that transfer to Active Student profiles do appear on the student's profile. Those fields can also be added to both Lead and Active Student registration forms.
As part of the July 2025 release, Lead Profile fields that transfer to Active Student profile fields do appear on the Students & Family Custom report, as well as the lead report.
