Procare Desktop offers two options for editing or posting a balance to a Subsidy Ledger: Transfer to Parent and Agency Credit.
From the Desktop Support Article: "If the balance is not being transferred to the parent, you may adjust it as an Agency Credit, Agency Write Off or create your own Agency Adjustment Code. An Agency Credit is a good choice for correcting a mistake, such as overcharging the agency. An Agency Write Off may be better to indicate that portion of a legitimate charge you do not expect to collect."
Some Online Customers are hesitant to use 'Write Off Balance' because they do not want to Write Off a Balance. Adding an 'Agency Credit' option could give centers the flexibility they need to track Subsidy accounting in Procare confidently.
