Procare Desktop allows centers to surcharge all card payments.
Procare Online only allows a surcharge to be placed on Credit Card payments.
This can be terribly frustrating for Online customers. Often they ask why we can't surcharge all payment types when our competition (including Stripe on our own platform) allows them to.
They might also ask if they can disable Debit Cards as a payment method and we do not allow that.
That leaves them with either using another processor, or leaving Procare for a competitor.
Aligning our two biggest software platforms by making sure we're offering the same surchariging options would not only help those customers switching between our platforms, but new customers who are coming from a competitor who offers surcharging on all payment types.
This will hopefully lead to less churn and an increased TE adoption rate.

Requesting Customer | Too Many to List |
We're technically picking up this request but in the reverse of what was asked. Online customers couldn't surcharge Debit cards but Desktop could, and they wanted to be like Desktop. Card brand rules indicate Debit cards can't be surcharged, so we're actually changing Desktop to be like Online and moving towards a consistent experience accross all products .
