Currently, when a user selects TE POS on a TEID configured for ACH only, the system throws a 1005 error but still proceeds to open a blank HPP (Hosted Payment Page). This behavior can cause confusion for users and create unnecessary troubleshooting steps.
Proposed Enhancement:
Instead of displaying a generic 1005 error and opening an empty HPP page, the system should:
Present a clear, user-friendly error message indicating that the selected TEID only supports ACH transactions and cannot process POS payments.
Prevent the HPP from opening when the TEID is ACH-only.
Impact:
This change would improve user experience, reduce confusion, and limit unnecessary support contacts related to unclear 1005 error behavior in POS.
