Schools are currently able to toggle option for "Notify Parents When Staff Take Attendance" on or off. However, when this setting is turned on, the parents will receive notifications for all transfers. Additionally, when this setting is turned off, parents are not receiving notifications, but they are also unable to view the attendance records at all.
Many schools report this, but we receive feedback about this regularly from Primrose. The Primrose schools will transfer their students many times a day so they do not want this setting on, but are upset that the parents' of the afterschool rooms are unable to receive updates or even view attendance records.
The improvements that I would recommend would be to either allow this setting to be managed on a room level, allow the attendance records to at least be visible even when this setting is turned off, or to differentiate between transfers and in/out.
Please update the parent feed to always show the SISO activities for students. Clients do not necessarily want to turn on this feature but need the parents to see all SISO activities. But the Parents will not see if their child was SISO at all by staff unless that feature is turned on.
